We were introduced to UT when we were building our new home. From the first time we walked into their office
we felt a warm, friendly association with this family-run business. Bogha and John were so informative and
willing to make changes so that our elevator would be uniquely ours. During installation the entire staff
was involved and ensured that the elevator would be complete before we moved in. The company also did follow
up calls and visits for safety lessons and minor changes.

We just wanted to thank all of you at UT Elevator for being so accommodating by working with our builder to install our elevator in new home. Having this elevator has made life so much easier for us and our son. Since our son is completely dependent on us for all aspects of his care having the elevator has enabled us to get him around the house safely.
We are so glad that we were able to purchase a two storey home for our growing family knowing that you would install a safe and practical elevator for us. We are thrilled that by having this elevator our son isn't limited to one floor of our house. Having this elevator in our home is undoubtedly one of the best investments we have made.

I'm writing as I wish to thank you, and the UT Elevator crew, for the usefully convenient elevator you installed in our home last autumn. As I've become increasingly disabled with Multiple Sclerosis, and then restricted to using a wheel chair, I'd lost stair climbing ability and become confined to the main floor of our home. As my wife and I wished to continue living independently in the neighbourhood we know and enjoy we explored the possibility of extending our home. This led to planning a two story addition which would require a residential elevator.
Discussions with several elevator manufacturers showed UT to be the most cost effective. Product information sheets and discussion showed the UT lift to contain the features I'd need. And time has proven our decision to be correct. Easy to operate, solidly constructed, comfortable to ride, and professionally installed in a timely manner! What more could I, rather, we ask. I now have the freedom of two floors; and my wife regularly commutes when transporting items rather than dragging items up and down stairs.

I am writing to comment upon the Handicapped (wheelchair) lift installed at B'nai Israel Synagogue in St. Catherines last spring by UT Elevator Inc. The unit has performed superbly, and has made our sanctuary, library auditorium and meeting rooms available to the elderly members of the congregation who had become isolated from their religious community because of the previous barriers to access. We have had no problems since installation except for the odd absent minded user who forgets to turn off the car when leaving so it may be summoned by the next person. This is not a criticism of the lift, but rather of the Ontario codes regarding elevators.
The installation was a challenge between a building from the 20's and one from the 50's such that a three door car was necessary with 5 different levels being involved. unitech met the challenges and we are very satisfied. The unit appears to be of high quality, and having inspected it during installation I can confirm that it is well built and should last a long time.
We were pleasantly surprised at how well it integrated in the décor of the two old buildings and the quality of operation.
In conclusion, this was a professional installation that met all of our expectations
